Training Details

Our next training cohort begins in October 2024. The first three days of training will take place online via Teams from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Day 2 – 19th October: This day will be learning about how to code an autism assessment. We will look at what coding is, how to code and then code an assessment. You will be watching a video of an assessment, code then write a short report.
Day 3 – 2nd November: This day will be continuing to code using a different module doing the same as day 2.  We will discuss what your plans/hopes are in working with us in the future and how to get started.

Some homework will be given after each training so please plan/schedule some time each week to do this. (at least a few hours)
Day 4 – 9th November: Face-to-face training – We will look at all the ADHD assessments tools we use.  You will have an assessment to understand how it works. Look at ADHD reports and role play autism assessment.

After these sessions, you will shadow real assessments, and within 6–12 months, you will receive dyslexia training. Additional training will be provided as needed.

Ongoing Support

You’ll receive full support from Jane, our Senior Test Assistant, with feedback on reports and guidance through the entire process, from initial client contact to report writing.

Payment and Career Progression

This covers several hours of work, including both the assessment and report writing.
As you gain experience when writing assessments, your pay rate will increase.
While you are trained to conduct assessments, all assessments and reports will be signed off under supervision. Further qualifications to sign off on reports independently are available but not required.

Assessments, reports and your practice will always be under Jane’s or the director’s Linus supervision as you will be trained to do assessments though not qualified to sign off assessments or reports. (these are other qualifications that you may be interested in in the future though not necessary to do assessments)

We conduct assessments to provide the necessary information for a diagnosis, although we are not qualified to make a diagnosis ourselves. These assessments allow individuals to access the support they need without having to endure the long waiting times often experienced with the NHS.

We follow all the NICE guidance for the assessments. We use ADOS 2 assessments for Autism (same as NHS) QB check for ADHD and TOD for dyslexia. These are gold standards assessments.

We have  got a contract with Derby and Leicester council.  We will be looking at getting other contracts in different areas across the county.  We have also been putting in for bids to get contracts with the NHS (we could be on the right to choose list, well that is our aim)

Teams Across the UK

We have teams established in Kent, Birmingham, Dudley, Solihull, Essex, London, Hampshire, Southwest Peterborough, Bournemouth, and Swindon. We are actively expanding and have secured contracts with local councils in Derby and Leicester, with plans for more across the country.

Next Steps

To secure your place in the training cohort, you’ll need to make an investment of £1500. We offer flexible payment plans, with the option to pay in full or in 10 monthly installments of £150.
